All of our programs are custom-tailored based on your family's goals for your dog.
IN-HOME DOG TRAINING
With our in-home training, learn right alongside your dog and become your dog’s best partner, trainer, and advocate. You will learn how to teach your dog the skills he or she needs to be successful in navigating our human world and how to communicate in a way that is clear, effective, and maintains your partnership. All lessons occur in your home, and in locations matching your specific training goals such as: hiking/walking trails, residential neighbourhoods, parks, and even pet-friendly stores!
LODGE & LEARN
This option is great for clients who have schedule constraints or live a distance away. Training programs are planned and arranged to fit you and your dog's needs. A customized-training program, duration of training, and pricing will be determined at an initial consultation. Included in the program: four training sessions at the client's home, and a login/password to watch your dog being trained on live video. Our goal is to make sure every client feels connected to the entire training process.
BEHAVIOURAL MODIFICATION
Our trainers specialise in reactive dogs and will meet with you to help with issues such as: house-training, resource-guarding, aggression, socialization, managing a multi-dog household, and introducing a new dog into your home. We even offer to help select a new puppy for you and your family, if and when needed.
IN-HOME EVALUATION
Evaluations are a critical part of this process and allow us to take an extensive behavioural history and observe the dog's behaviour first-hand. We require this for all new clients. In turn, we create a training plan based on the data we've acquired that is specific to your priorities and needs. This allows us to train efficiently and not overlap on skills the dog already knows. Without evaluation, we are training in the dark which is a terrible approach to training from both a professional standpoint and for the dog. We need to get it right from the get-go. It is the greatest kindness to both our clients and their dogs.
