Complimentary In-Person Assessment

Evaluation

2057 SC-90, Conway, SC 29526

Every dog we work with begins with a complimentary in-person evaluation at our location. This is not a sales appointment—it is a structured, professional assessment designed to give you clarity and direction before any training decisions are made.

Beyond Surface-Level

What Makes Our Evaluation Different

Most training evaluations are quick conversations or surface-level observations. Ours is different.

During your evaluation, we take the time to understand the full picture—not just what your dog is doing, but why it's happening.

We evaluate:

Emotional state and stress tolerance
Triggers and environmental sensitivity
Handling and safety considerations
Whether the issue is obedience-based or behavior-based
What type of training will actually create lasting change

This allows us to recommend the right program, at the right intensity, without overtraining, undertraining, or using the wrong approach.

Transparent & Detailed

A Detailed, Transparent Report

Following your evaluation, you will receive a clear, detailed explanation of everything we observed and our recommended path forward.

We explain what we do, how we do it, and why it's effective, so you're never left guessing or pressured.

Quality Over Quantity

Why Our Model Is Different

At K9 Learning Academy, we operate on a quality-over-quantity model.

Obedience Training

Handled by dedicated trainers who focus on structure, skills, and consistency.

Behavior Cases

Handled by behavior specialists whose role is to create true behavior change, not temporary control or management.

These are two very different skill sets, and we intentionally keep them separate to ensure your dog receives the right level of expertise.

Because of this structure—and because behavior change requires time, control, and responsibility—our availability is extremely limited.

We do not overbook
We do not rush dogs through programs
We do not take on more than we can responsibly handle

No Cost, No Obligation

The in-person evaluation is complimentary and carries no obligation to enroll. Its purpose is to give you honest insight, professional guidance, and a clear path forward—whether you choose to move ahead or not.

Limited Availability

Why Availability Is Limited

We limit:

The number of evaluations we perform
The number of dogs we accept each month
The number of behavior cases we take on

This ensures:

Higher safety standards
Better outcomes for dogs and owners
More individualized attention
Long-term success, not short-term fixes
Quality dog training
